  • Downtown Parking Management Strategy (Stratford Ontario) supported by customer demand surveys, parking space use analysis (real-time space & field data capture), and market opportunity evaluations; parking structure pro-forma, and informed a decision to remove key on-street parking spaces to provide opportunity to re-purpose and invigorate the city’s core).

  • Parking Management Strategy for downtown, and two sub-centers - Kerr St Village & Bronte Village (Oakville Ontario) - Use of Mobile Licence Plate Recognition Technology to capture parking activity data, full strategic plan and five-year monitoring performance program. Included online and public information engagement tools to develop a long-term parking strategy.

  • Mohawk College (Hamilton Ontario) – Strategic and business plan initiatives developed to ensure quality in the parking services provided; initiatives that embraced innovation in the use of parking technology; and initiatives that support sustainability.

  • University Hospital Campus Parking Demand Study that informed a parking management strategy that services demand attracted by three regional specialty medical sites in Vancouver BC. Parking strategy included the accommodation of demands patterns that had temporal variation, varying service levels, and required a clear wayfinding typology to effectively communicate to visitors to the campus.

  • Public Parking Pricing Rationale (Kingston Ontario) – amid initial controversy evidence and seasoned advice provided a clear win-win rationale to begin implementation of significant changes to parking rates in the downtown.


  • City of Kelowna BC – Downtown Parking Study and Financial Analysis Model tools were delivered so that assessment of the scheduling of remedies proposed could be assessed and evaluated in a responsible way to Finance department and council. The model provided what-if framework within which different supply and rate options could be assessed. A parking operation and enforcement business plan was developed as a result of the study.

  • Brampton Ontario – Region of Peel Headquarters Parking Management Strategy, Operational Review and Travel Demand Management Strategy Study. The integration of sustainable transportation mobility remedies and targets into a clear and responsible strategy was its outcome. Staff engagement through online survey form that was designed and subsequently analyzed in non-technical language to be shared with everyone.

  • Dubai UAE - Al Ghurair City Centre Expansion. Parking demand analysis, signage, parking access and revenue control strategy and internal parking circulation plan to serve a large scaled commercial and residential redevelopment site.


  • Review of Parking Revenue Control System for the Niagara Health Care System in Ontario (Douglas Hospital in Fort Erie, Welland General Hospital, Port Colborne General Hospital, Niagara On the Lake, St Catharine’s General Hospital).

  • The Exchange Tower [Brookfield Properties], in Toronto, Ontario– complete revenue control system recommendation, interior and exterior signage and way finding system.

  • John ST Parkade, in the City of Brampton Ontario included evaluation of several control strategies and of customer service options for the public parking component of this Region of Peel housing project site (600 spaces).


  • City of Brampton Ontario – (John ST Parkade)– Revenue Control system options analysis, development of RFP document, management of the bid process, evaluation of bids, participated in the interview of short-listed proponents, and evaluation of final bids.

  • Morguard Investment Properties (The Colonnade) –, Toronto Ontario – Revenue Control system design, selection of vendor, implementation plan and presentation of Return on Investment analyses and revenue maximization opportunities. Preparation, coordination and evaluation of RFQ document and submissions

  • Impark (now Reefparking) - creation of RFP document, management of the bid process, review, evaluation and selection of vendor for the upgrade of parking revenue and control system on 20 sites in the Greater Toronto Area (site property owners: Oxford, Bentall-Kennedy, Cadillac Fairview & Brookfield)

  • Oxford Properties Group (Waterpark Place) in Toronto, Ontario - creation of RFP document, management of the bid process, review, evaluation and selection of vendor for the management & upgrade of parking revenue and control system


Suite of Parking Activity Analysis Tools:

  • Detailed profit and loss forecast including the modeling of expected parking demand, expected parking revenues and operating costs and the quantification of the risk involved in these estimates

  • Capture and process field data on mobile PC units or GoPro cameras to produce salient findings within hours of the completion of data collection, saving a minimum of three to five day’s turn-around and significant project costs.

  • Parking Management Information System for the Calgary Parking Authority Calgary Alberta featuring GIS front end.


  • Spreadsheet-based toolset that provides an analytic framework, key financial ratios and graphic/tabular output of the potential impact of rate changes on parking activity characteristics and revenue performance of parking facilities (Kingston ON, Kelowna BC, Richmond BC)

  • Developed a hand-held based application that logs “hot-list” license plates for parking enforcement officers in the field

Geographic Information Systems:

  • Advanced user and developer with MapInfo, MapBasic and ArcInfo tools (Suite of applets applied on every Parking Demand Study and Parking Management Strategy project) 

  • GIS front-end application to assist Toronto Public Health's West Nile Virus & Legionella team to design efficient route patterns for the larval treatment program, analysis of incidence of positive results


Data Mining and Management Tools:

  • Proven program development success using Windows API Language and Microsoft’s Visual Basic, Microsoft's Visual Studio (NET), APEX (Oracle Rapid Development Tool) and Crystal and Oracle Reports

  • Advanced user of database tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, FoxPro and Oracle systems

  • Design, collect and analysis of results from online survey form tools (SurveyMonkey)
